Lance Craft is designed to connect freelancers and businesses in the wedding and event industry. These Community Guidelines outline expectations for behavior, content, and interactions on the platform.

By using Lance Craft, you agree to follow these Guidelines in addition to our Terms & Conditions.

Our goal is to foster a respectful, professional, and safe environment for all users.

Professional Conduct

All users are expected to act professionally and respectfully.

This includes:

  • Communicating honestly and clearly

  • Treating others with respect

  • Engaging in good-faith business interactions

Harassment, intimidation, threats, or abusive behavior are not permitted and will lead to user termination.

Job Postings & Opportunities

When posting jobs or opportunities, users must:

  • Provide accurate and truthful information

  • Clearly describe the role, scope, timing, and compensation expectations

  • Comply with applicable labor, employment, and contractor laws

  • Avoid misleading, deceptive, or fraudulent listings

Lance Craft does not permit job postings that are illegal, unsafe, or exploitative.

Discrimination & Harassment

Discrimination or harassment based on protected characteristics is not permitted, including but not limited to:

  • Race or ethnicity

  • Religion

  • Gender or gender identity

  • Sexual orientation

  • Disability

  • Age

Job postings or messages that exclude or target individuals unlawfully may be removed.

Personal Information & Privacy

Users are encouraged to use caution when sharing personal information.

Please do not post:

  • Social Security numbers

  • Government-issued ID numbers

  • Financial account details

  • Highly sensitive personal data

Lance Craft is not responsible for information voluntarily shared between users.

Prohibited Content & Activities

The following are not allowed on the platform:

  • Fraud, scams, or deceptive practices

  • False representation of identity or qualifications

  • Illegal services or activities

  • Spam, solicitation, or irrelevant promotional content

  • Attempts to circumvent platform rules for prohibited purposes

Safety & Due Diligence

Lance Craft does not conduct background checks or vet users unless explicitly stated.

Users are responsible for:

  • Conducting their own interviews and reference checks

  • Verifying credentials and experience

  • Making informed decisions before engaging in work

Enforcement

Lance Craft reserves the right to remove content, restrict features, suspend accounts, or terminate access for violations of these Guidelines or our Terms & Conditions.

Enforcement decisions are made at Lance Craft’s discretion.
