Welcome to Lance Craft. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Lance Craft website, mobile application, and related services (collectively, the “Platform”).
By accessing or using Lance Craft, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
1. About Lance Craft
Lance Craft is a marketplace platform designed to connect wedding and event industry professionals, including freelancers and businesses, for job opportunities, hiring, and professional networking.
Lance Craft is not an employer, staffing agency, or employment service, and does not hire, manage, supervise, or employ users.
2. Eligibility
To use Lance Craft, you must:
Be at least 18 years old
Have the legal authority to enter into contracts
Use the Platform for professional and lawful purposes
By using Lance Craft, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.
3. User Accounts
You may be required to create an account to access certain features.
You agree to:
Provide accurate and current information
Maintain the security of your login credentials
Be responsible for all activity under your account
Lance Craft is not responsible for unauthorized access resulting from your failure to safeguard your credentials.
4. Independent Contractor Relationship
All freelancers using Lance Craft are independent contractors, not employees of Lance Craft.
Lance Craft does not:
Set wages or rates
Control schedules or work conditions
Supervise performance
Provide benefits, insurance, or tax documentation
All hiring decisions, payment arrangements, taxes, insurance, and compliance obligations are solely between the hiring party and the freelancer.
5. No Guarantee of Work or Hiring
Lance Craft does not guarantee:
Job availability
Freelancer placement
Hiring success
Income, business growth, or outcomes
The Platform facilitates connections only.
6. User Content & Conduct
You are solely responsible for all content you post, submit, or share, including profiles, job listings, messages, reviews, and uploads (“User Content”).
You agree not to:
Post false, misleading, or fraudulent information
Misrepresent your identity, experience, or qualifications
Harass, discriminate, or abuse other users
Violate labor, employment, or contractor laws
Circumvent the Platform for prohibited purposes
Lance Craft reserves the right to remove content or suspend accounts at its sole discretion.
7. Endorsements, Vetting, Background Checks & Due Diligence
Lance Craft does not conduct background checks, credential verification, or screenings unless explicitly stated.
Users are solely responsible for conducting their own due diligence, interviews, reference checks, and compliance reviews before engaging in any work relationship.
Lance Craft does not endorse, recommend, verify, or guarantee any user, job listing, service, or representation made on the Platform.
8. Payments & Financial Transactions
Lance Craft does not process payments between users.
Any payment arrangements, invoices, disputes, refunds, or chargebacks are handled directly between freelancers and businesses.
Lance Craft is not liable for:
Non-payment
Late payment
Disputed services
Tax reporting errors
Users are solely responsible for determining and complying with all applicable tax, labor, employment, insurance, and licensing obligations arising from work arranged through the Platform.
Lance Craft may use third-party payment processors to facilitate Merchandise purchases. Lance Craft does not store full payment card information and is not responsible for payment processor errors, chargebacks, or processing delays.
Payment processing is governed by the terms and privacy policies of the applicable payment provider.
8A. Merchandise Sales & Third-Party Fulfillment
Lance Craft offers limited merchandise through the Platform. All physical merchandise is produced, fulfilled, shipped, and returned through a third-party print-on-demand fulfillment provider, Printful.
Lance Craft does not manufacture, store, package, or ship merchandise directly.
By purchasing merchandise through the Platform, you acknowledge and agree that:
All orders are made to order and produced on demand
Fulfillment timelines, production methods, shipping processes, returns, replacements, and defect determinations are governed by the fulfillment partner’s policies
Lance Craft does not control manufacturing decisions, carrier delays, lost shipments, or fulfillment errors beyond facilitating claims in accordance with fulfillment partner policy
All merchandise returns, replacements, or fulfillment-related issues must be processed through the fulfillment partner
Customers must not return merchandise directly to Lance Craft unless explicitly instructed to do so in writing.
8B. Merchandise Returns, Refunds & Cancellations
Merchandise purchases made through the Platform are subject to Lance Craft’s Return & Cancellation Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
Due to the made-to-order nature of merchandise:
Returns or exchanges are not accepted for buyer’s remorse, incorrect size selection, or change of mind
Orders cannot be canceled or modified once production has begun
Refunds or replacements are issued only for confirmed defects, damage, or fulfillment errors, as determined by the fulfillment partner
Lance Craft does not issue refunds for merchandise except where required by applicable law or where expressly authorized by the fulfillment partner.
8C. Made-to-Order & Order Finality
All Merchandise sold through the Platform is produced on demand.
Once production has begun:
Orders cannot be canceled, modified, or refunded
Changes to size, color, address, or design are not guaranteed
Customers are responsible for reviewing all order details prior to submission. Production may begin immediately after purchase. By placing an order, you acknowledge and accept the finality of made-to-order production.
9. Platform Modifications, Feature Changes, Fees & Future Services
Lance Craft may introduce paid features, advertising, premium tools, or subscription plans in the future. Lance Craft also reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Platform at any time, with or without notice.
Any fees will be clearly disclosed prior to purchase. Continued use of the Platform after such changes constitutes acceptance.
10. Intellectual Property
All Platform content, including text, design, logos, graphics, software, and branding, is owned by Lance Craft or its licensors and protected by intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or exploit any content without written permission.
11. User License Grant
By submitting User Content, you grant Lance Craft a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute that content solely for operating and promoting the Platform.
12. User Feedback Clause
Any feedback, suggestions, or ideas submitted to Lance Craft may be used by Lance Craft without obligation or compensation.
13. Third-Party Links & Services
The Platform may contain links to third-party websites or services.
Lance Craft does not control or endorse third-party content and is not responsible for their actions, policies, or practices.
Use third-party services at your own risk.
14. No Third-Party Beneficiaries
These Terms are for the sole benefit of Lance Craft and its users and do not create any rights for any third party.
15. Advertising, Analytics & Tracking Technologies
Lance Craft may display advertisements and use tracking technologies, including cookies, pixels, and similar tools, to operate, analyze, and improve the Platform.
These technologies may collect information such as device data, usage data, IP addresses, and interactions with advertisements. Some advertising content may be provided by third-party partners.
Lance Craft does not control how third-party advertisers collect or use data through their technologies. Your interactions with advertisements and third-party tracking tools are governed by their respective privacy policies.

16. Disclaimers
The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available.”
Lance Craft makes no warranties regarding:
Accuracy of listings or profiles
User behavior
Job outcomes
Platform availability or uptime
Use of the Platform is at your own risk.
17. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lance Craft shall not be liable for:
Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Lost profits or business opportunities
Personal injury or property damage
Disputes between users
Lance Craft’s total liability shall not exceed the amount paid to Lance Craft, if any, within the prior twelve months.
18. Merchandise & Fulfillment Liability Limitations
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lance Craft shall not be liable for:
Manufacturing defects, production delays, or fulfillment errors outside approved claims
Lost, delayed, or misdelivered shipments once transferred to a carrier
Address errors or unclaimed shipments
Fulfillment partner policy decisions regarding replacements or reshipments
Any remedies for Merchandise issues are limited to replacement or correction as determined by the fulfillment provider in accordance with its policies.
19. Force Majeure
Lance Craft shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance resulting from causes beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, power failures, internet outages, governmental actions, labor disputes, or system failures.
20. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Lance Craft from any claims, losses, damages, or legal expenses arising from:
Your use of the Platform
Your content
Your interactions with other users
Your violation of laws or these Terms
21. Account Suspension & Termination
Lance Craft may suspend or terminate accounts at any time, with or without notice, for violations of these Terms or conduct harmful to the Platform or its users.
22. Survival Clause
Sections relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, dispute resolution (Section 21), and governing law shall survive termination of these Terms.
23. Dispute Resolution and Arbitration
Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the use of the Platform shall be resolved through binding arbitration, rather than in court, except that either party may seek injunctive or equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction.
Arbitration shall be conducted on an individual basis. You agree that you waive the right to participate in a class action, class arbitration, or representative proceeding.
The arbitration shall be governed by the Federal Arbitration Act and administered by a recognized arbitration provider. The location of arbitration shall be Texas, unless otherwise required by law.
This provision shall survive termination of your account or use of the Platform.
24. Privacy
Your use of the Platform is governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your data.
25. No Waiver
Failure by Lance Craft to enforce any provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that provision or any other provision.
26. Changes to These Terms
Lance Craft may update these Terms at any time. Continued use after updates are posted constitutes acceptance.
Updates to fulfillment partner policies may require corresponding updates to Lance Craft’s Return & Cancellation Policy or related sections of these Terms. Continued use of the Platform or purchase of Merchandise after such updates constitutes acceptance.
27. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
28. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
